For more than 20 years, Paolo’s has been bringing the taste of Italy to Kent. Paul Raftis founded the restaurant after growing up learning to cook along side his mother, Darlene Raftis. He enjoys the open kitchen he can chat with guests as he works. He never tires of hearing "It smells so good in here!" As a marathoner, he is living proof that that you can eat Italian and be healthy. In fact, one of his signature dishes, "Fettucine Paolo" was featured in Runner's World magazine. "It's one of the dishes I developed, it has no cream in it, no butter." It's a delicious pasta dish that utilizes olive oil, garlic, chicken stock, garlic, balsamic vinegar, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, and chicken.     Never had a bad meal at Jaks. Wagu cooked to perfection. Loved the potato pancakes and trio dessert of strawberry cheese cake, bread pudding and creme brulee. Great service.

    Food was excellent- Filet Mignon, Scallops, Shrimp. Cut steak with a FORK. Scallops were prepared perfectly. Our chef was very friendly and enjoyable, without being loud and obnoxious. Service was a little slow, but fine considering it was Valentine's Day.

    First time to Pink Door and it did not disappoint! Everything we had was fabulous, the service was great as was the atmosphere! I felt at times I was in the 50’s with the decor and music which was fun! They even had real candles! We will definitely be returning!
