Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. The menu is based on the foods one would find at a farmer’s market: fresh, seasonal, and regional. Marche is committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. This was our first dinning experience at the Kennedy Steakhouse. The service was extraordinary and the filet was superb. The only thing that was disappointing was the creamed corn. Overall the experience was worth the $350 for the three of us and we look coming back again, albeit it will probably a year because of the prices. Thank You for establishing a wonderful restaurant in Eugene!

Our steak was cooked perfectly, as were the other items we ordered from the menu. We enjoyed being able to order from both the fixed menu and the regular one. Our Christmas Eve was once again made special by everyone at Marche. Merci!

Was surprised that they had none of their specials available for our 6:45p dinner time frame, particularly on Christmas Eve. Prices were a bit high for the selection available. Food was good though, and service was attentive and professional.
