Claudio Pirollo grew up in Belgium where he soon discovered his passion for cooking as he wandered around his father’s fine Italian épicerie (grocery store) and watched his mother prepare dinner every day. The dual influence of Italy and Belgium triggered Chef Pirollo’s aspirations to develop his knowledge and experience with different flavors.A Trattoria is not a pizzeria, it is an Italian-style eating establishment that is generally much less formal than a ristorante but more formal than an osteria. Party of 8 + baby and they sat us in the booth that was circular. It felt like our conversations were just for us. The room was full of customers but the sound stayed moderate. It was quite magical. Had a beautiful brunch, it was delicious and the price point was amazing. We all felt grateful to be together and dining at such a special place. Thank FF and staff

Throughout the meal, the staff was attentive without being intrusive. When our server picked up that one of party was celebrating a birthday, he provided a special desert for her without our asking. The food was excellent.

A group of 4 wanted to split a lot of our lunch choices...plus the checks. No problem. Not only were they accommodating of all of that, our choices came to us already split. Not all restaurants would do that. Staff is charming and knowledgeable. Prices are good. Et Viola is one of my go-to restaurants for good reason. We had mussels, salads and French Onion soup by the way.
