Moody Tongue Sushi is MICHELIN starred Moody Tongue Brewery's West Village restaurant focused on sushi and beer. With over 20 years of experience in the kitchen, Nicholas McCann, now Executive Chef of Society Cafe, has always been passionate about food.     Truffle linguini was so fresh with just the right amount of truffle. Spaghetti carbonara with pork and the egg on top was a hit at my table. Pappardelle was a good hardy bowl of pasta and roasted lamb. The capri pizza with a Caesar salad was a perfect appetizer for the table. Priced reasonably for the city, this place is definitely worth several visits.

    Delicious flavorful dishes. We had the green curry (moderate spice), crying tiger, and Mama E La (my favorite dish hands down). We also had the ume dessert which was very unique. Cocktails were stellar too! The vibe there was boisterous, energized, and fun - quite reminiscent of a lively corner street vendor in Bangkok. Service once seated was perfect, but on arrival the host staff were a little frazzled and chaotic. Overall a positive experience and would return!

    We had a great dinner! The ambiance was so amazing - it was like Christmas exploded in there! The real tree in the middle of the dining room was spectacular. We had the steak tar tar as an app - delish! We got the boucherie and wagu burgers, also amazing Overall, a great experience and place to eat!

    Food was great and wine recommendations from sommelier were excellent. In the beginning things seemed very rushed. Our Negronis were served and within 5 minutes the first course arrived. We asked the wait staff to slow things down which they did and it made the evening more enjoyable.
