The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar.     It was everything I would wish for in a nice chill but classy restaurant. It’s sheik yet laid back . It’s what you make it but no matter what food is delicious , drinks are delicious and the service is welcoming. Beautiful people and families everywhere ! Family friendly and date vibes as well .

    Gladys provided excellent service. I came with three of my girlfriends and it was all our first time at Lavo. We loved the atmosphere, the food, the service and the DJ was a nice surprise. He was right next to the booth we were at and played some of our favorites. From the garlic bread, pizza, carbonara & penne allá vodka… and the couple of different cocktails we had… we were very happy with our whole dining experience. Gladys was even kind enough to take some photos for us even though we know she must have been so busy as it was packed and a Saturday night. Please thank & acknowledge her wonderful service. I’m a manager in hospitality as well so I know when someone deserves the recognition. Thank you for the great experience, Lavo!

    Perfect ambiance and delicious food. The devil is in the details; the ossobucco alla Milanese was a standout (paired well with Chianti), as was the ravioli di Spinaci e Ricotta. We also enjoyed the desserts—tiramisu especially, as it was not too sweet and paired well with espresso. A major plus is that it felt like we were the only diners, despite being fully booked for Christmas Eve; a crowd had gathered at the host stand by the time we left, so I strongly recommend early supper 4-5pm for anyone with young children! It was intimate and private, and my toddler’s needs were always addressed patiently and with genuine warmth, as were my mother’s dietary requirements (gluten, dairy and nightshade allergies). Highly recommend for family meals especially.
