after having eaten here since they opened i've grown to expect exactly what i experienced this visit...everything was really good...no issues from valet to valet, always a good time!

Our evening could not have been better. The service was friendly and attentive. Waiter, bartender, and sommelier responded to all our requests and went above and beyond, dividing our entrees since we shared two, finding the right wine when our first choice was unavailable and making an excellent mule! Appetizer of mussels was excellent. The two pasta specials were delicious, sea bass and gnocchi. On a snowy night it was cozy and relaxed.

Everything was great! We were quite late and they still accommodated us without issues. It was packed but still not very loud or slow. Only issue was that we never got a water refill the whole meal and had to ask at dessert. They did offer to bring more wine though when those glasses were empty! The golden beet salad was delicious but I needed more lettuce with the beets. Crab cake, mushroom soup, scallops were all out of this world. Seabass needed a little more sauce, but still delicious.

Love this restaurant.. the sushi is excellent! Looking forward to the Loveland location opening!

Three of us shared a special reunion dinner. The initial hosts were quite polished, yet I felt my guest's attire and my signature (SF Asian Art museum) baseball cap was a possible issue, so I was not surprised when we were sized up and sat in the back/vault. The back was GREAT. More privacy and tons more quiet than the front. The final server we had was THE BEST. He helped us with the menu quickly and seamlessly (he really knew his stuff.) His friendliness was NATURAL, not forced. We were not rushed. Plus he was the perfect balance between professional and friendly. Formal dining etiquette (re clearing and food delivery) were all present and perfect. Yes, this was rather pricy, but I will definitely return, esp for a special occasion. And our server deserved his 30% tip, even if provided by a guy in a baseball cap with casually-dressed guests. ; )
