Café Gabbiano located on Siesta Key was originated by the Migliaccio family in 2003 where is four sons grew in and out of the restaurant business.A second venture in downtown Sarasota was opened and designed by Pietro in 2012 named Casantica, a small old house converted to a quaint homey restaurant. A perfect evening. The setting exemplar, calm and perfect weather and a view by the water. Our waiter, Chris, guided us along our culinary experience. Cocktails, wine selection, salads and the outstanding choice of halibut. The tada was their key lime pie!! You cannot go wrong with any choices here!

Our lunches were delicious as always. The server was outstanding. My ONLY complaint is that they keep the background music too loud. Makes it hard to talk. We did ask them to please turn it down but they didn’t. I go to lunch with friends to socialize- not to listen to music.

My parents came from out of town and wanted to take my kids and me out and we alll loved our food. We have been many times but the menu changed a bit so we got to try some new food and it was fantastic. Highly recommend. Food is always good and service is always good as well. Unique menu items like Korean meatloaf

Delightful and authentic Italian restaurant with outstanding food and once you walk through the front door you would think you were in Italy intimate dining area. You are greeted with friendly smiles and superb service. All four meals, appetizers and dessert was top notch.
