Gjelina is a restaurant that serves locally-sourced, produce-forward food with menus guided by conversations and long-standing relationships with farmers, local ranchers, fishermen, and co-ops. Our first location Gjelina LA in Venice Beach opened in 2008 becoming a staple in the local community. In 2023, we opened a Gjelina location in New York at 45 Bond Street. A month into being open, we had a fire and had to close our doors. As we complete construction and prepare for our reopening in fall 2024, Gjelina NY has had a series of pop-ups this summer, beginning with WSA in June and July, and NO BAR at The Standard, East Village, for the month of August. Our third location, Gjelina Las Vegas is scheduled to open at the end of 2024.

Bar Primi is a corner pasta shop devoted to ‘primi piatti,’ the pasta course. What began as an idea for a small space in New York's East Village has since become an essential in chef and co-owner Andrew Carmellini's range: fresh pasta traditionally prepared and cooked to order. At Bar Primi, the main course is Primi Piatti. We use a variety of non-GMO semolina and specialty ‘00’ flours, organic eggs and handed-down techniques to create our menu of Traditional and Seasonal pasta dishes. We make more than a dozen different shapes and styles daily. This includes lumache and rigatoni from our imported extruder or ravioli and mezzalune cut and filled by hand. Family recipes and secrets are traded between Carmellini and Brooklyn-born chef-partner Salvatore Lamboglia who also offers a daily meat or seafood special in addition to a selection of shareable Piccolini and Antipasti, artisanal cheese, salumi and simple home-style desserts.

Emporio, a rustic Roman-style trattoria, managed by the same team responsible for the successful Aurora Brooklyn and Aurora Soho restaurants, has become another one of their dining destinations known for excellent food delivered in a relaxed and authentic setting.Literally an Emporio, the restaurant will sell a superior selection of quality Italian provisions offering Italian and local cheeses, artisanal and house cured charcuterie, raw bar, fritti, wood-fired pizzas, homemade pastas and traditional Roman entrees.     The restaurant was wonderful. It was a little odd that our waiters switched shifts in the middle of our tea service, but it was okay. They were not overly attentive. The food was great; the ambience was great. The Crosby Bar needs easier access to the bathroom though. Tough navigating down stairs and hallways with an injured foot! We want to come back next year.

    LOVE Bondst. My favorite Japanese resto in NYC 25 years and counting. And I love how they take care of their regulars. Best order... Yuzu Martini, crab salad, tuna crispy rice, spicy crispy shrimp, chicken katsu bao, miso sea bass skewers, and chocolate lava cake.

    It was an exceptional experience! this was our first time and we will return again on our next trip. The service was top-notch, from the hostess taking our coats to the server offering specialty cut meats and superior wine. The dinner was exactly what we were looking for.
