Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     Superb dining experience as always from Ivy! We were celebrating a birthday and being at the Ivy made it more enjoyable. Food was fantastic, we opted for 2 course xmas set menu and it was great portions and quality of food. Would highly recommend to others. Staff were attentive and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Thanks for a great night!

    Really good food and great service. Not too busy or noisy although the week before Christmas. It’s is quite expensive but then it is in the middle of the square mile.

    I have been to Blacklock City several times, and have never been disappointed. The food and drinks were all excellent. My favourites (in no particular order) are the pre chop bites / pork rib / Blacklock burger / sirloin / prime rib / all in / Blacklock Sundays / white chocolate cheesecake / old fashioned cocktails. Not to be consumed all at once, but if you think you can manage them all, I wish you the very best! The servers were very attentive and engaging. And even helped celebrated my birthday with a freebie. Have a birthday celebration there and you'll see!

    We had a table booked for 7.00pm and were lucky to be seated by the window with a fantastic view of Tower Bridge and The Shard. Having been to 14 Hills previously we know that the restaurant is beautifully decorated and added to this were some lovely Christmas decorations. I ordered the Sea Bream, which was outstanding. My partner ordered the Turkey dinner but unfortunately his food was luke warm and the meat quite tough. He complained and was offered an alternative which was quickly brought to our table. Overall an enjoyable evening and thankfully the complaint was dealt with quickly and professionally. Would definitely go back.
