In the mountains of North Georgia the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant has been welcoming guests since 1922. Restored in 2008, the hotel and restaurant offer the best of rustic elegance. From the antique heart pine walls to the locust beams on our deck, expect unique, local craftsmanship. The decor is rich with period antiques, hand-woven rugs, and local artwork. It features a creatively prepared and presented Contemporary American menu with a Southern twist in the farm to table tradition. Fresh produce locally grown is hand selected and prepared by our Chef de Cuisine, whose entrees respect the natural flavors of high quality, humanely raised and locally harvested food. Glen-Ella Springs Inn Restaurant is open to the public and inn guests beginning at 5:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday April through December, and Wednesday through Saturday January through March. Calling ahead is recommended as some additional nights are closed in the winter. Offering one of the finest dining experiences in the North Georgia mountains, the restaurant prepares American Continental cuisine with a Southern flare. The setting is rustic, yet elegant and features fireside and outdoor dining depending on the season. Outdoor seating is limited; please call to request an outdoor table.

    We came here for my fiancés birthday. It was also our first time. They had the cutest card ready with all these Jeep ducks and even a little Jeep toy car. I could not believe it!! They asked me prior to arrival what his likes were and they created a personalized experience for us. We got the Prime Rib for 2… for $65 I thought it was an incredible deal. We couldn’t finish it all. The food was incredible, our waitress was incredible and the ambience was perfect. Highly recommend!!!!

    This is our third time dining at Oak Steakhouse. It is such a fine atmosphere and the food is truly excellent. We split the filet, which was outstanding, and got sides of Brussels sprouts (fabulously prepared), and wonderful mashed potatoes. Oak Steakhouse has become one of our favorite restorations in the Highlands area.

    This restaurant is consistently inviting. The ambiance is welcoming. Dillon, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food never disappoints. Cocktails are top notch.

    Food was spectacular with a wide variety of choices for any palate. It was hard making a decision on what to order because everything looked delicious. Ended up getting the scallops with cauliflower risotto, the shaved Brussels and carpaccio. Wow. Can’t wait to go back and see what else I can try. Five stars all the way! Congrats to Chef Andrew Featherstone for another bright spot on Main Street. You’ve outdone yourself! And, Roula always makes everyone feel so welcomed and special.
