Come enjoy a delicious meal right off the wood fire grill! We are located right in the heart of the historic Fayetteville square, and welcome you to join us for an incredible meal in an inviting, lively atmosphere. Our kitchen uses only select mesquite wood to insure every item has just the right amount of smoky flavor. For a grilled lunch or dinner, we offer classic steaks from ribeye to filet mignon as well as a few outside of the box items like lamb chop lollipops and jalapeño-stuffed quail breast. We also have sandwiches, salads, soups, and house-made desserts.About the BuildingBuilt in 1911, this historic building began its important role in the Fayetteville community as the city Post Office. In 1974 it was saved from demolition by a citizen-led petition, and gained National Historic status. We are honored to continue the tradition of bringing people together and celebrating the citys history in the beautiful Old Post Office.

The historic house has a new life as a restaurant and bar, with Executive Chef Tyler Rogers creating dishes that celebrate local, seasonal ingredients.     "Best steak I've ever had!" said my husband who is a cook! Service is top notch. David, our waiter was superb - friendly - attentive. Wine was good. The New York Strip was sizzling and cooked to perfection. Environment was festive, warm and inviting. The rest of the staff that was involved from entry to exit were superb. We'll be back on our next visit. Our compliments to the chef. And David really added to the experience.

    We enjoyed a special dinner at Chateau on the Lake in honor of our 47th wedding anniversary. We were delighted with everything about the experience! The hotel where the restaurant is located as well as the restaurant itself were both beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. We had a table overlooking Table Rock Lake where we were able to watch the sunset while enjoying our wine and bread service. Next, we each had a bowl of delicious cream of mushroom soup followed by delectable entrees of seared pork chops and sea bass. We capped it off by sharing a piece of pumpkin gooey butter cake for dessert. The service was excellent as well! Just a perfect place for a special dinner!
