It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent's goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar.     We celebrated my mom’s 67th birthday at Lanai, and it was truly a memorable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for a special day. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even helped us choose a few dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious, My mom especially loved Kare-Kare, which really made her day. And lastly, thank you to our assigned server, who truly made us feel welcome and was so patient with our requests to make my mom’s day extra special. I didn’t catch her name, but she deserves a raise for her exemplary service! Thank you, Lanai, for making my mom’s birthday so special. We can’t wait to come back!
