The sign represents Sir Winston Churchill, an expert bricklayer and whose home was at nearby Chartwell.We pride ourselves on getting involved with the local community and providing a warm and friendly welcome to our visitors. We serve Harvey's Best Bitter straight from the barrel, a fantastic range of wine and beautifully home cooked British pub food. Situated in the beautiful grounds of Wildernesse House is the Pavilion restaurant. Our chef prepares delicious dishes with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal produce. When booking a table in the evening, please be aware that we are a residential home and as such we ask that guests depart the restaurant by 09:00pm and have consideration for our neighbor's when leaving.Please be aware when visiting that there is a security gate on entry, the code for which is written on the gate, you will need to exit your vehicle to input the code. You will find the Pavilion restaurant next to the main house, opposite the Mews Houses. Ample parking available.Please be aware that our disabled lift is currently out of order. Went for Monday night dinner with family. Welcoming bar staff. The restaurant wasn’t busy. Unfortunately they didn’t have chicken that was on the menu so we had burgers and a lamb dish. The food was delicious. Could not fault it at all. I asked for oat milk with my tea, expecting a no, but that wasn’t an issue. The highlight of the evening was definitely the wonderful guy who served us. He was a very helpful, jovial and deserves a special mention. Thank you

We had the best meal - with outstanding service. Busy at lunchtime which gave a great atmosphere. Good quick service. Lovely meal exceptionally well priced. Will recommend to others.
