For many years, the Kula Lodge has been a favorite for both visitors and Kama'aina alike for delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of Maui. Perched high on the slopes of Haleakala with a 180 degree view of Maui, the Kula Lodge and Restaurant is a comfortable and homey place to relax, especially on your way down from the sunrise or sunset at the crater. It is situated on 4 lovely acres and not only has a stunning botanical garden, it has the only full-service bar and live music in Kula, along with a wine cave/private dining room for special dinners/events.The restaurant seats up to 160 guests, making it ideal for weddings and special events. The Kula Lodge outdoor Garden Terrace features a brick wood-burning pizza oven and an open view of south, central and the Maui mountains. The sunset views are absolutely phenomenal! Kula Lodge & Restaurant is open 7 days a week for Brunch, Happy Hour and Dinner. There is also a retail shop and 5 hotel rooms on property. Call for more info!

Bistro Casanova is smooth, elegant, exquisite and fun. A tropical landscaping refreshes the air surrounding the outside al fresco tables. Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy where the owner comes from. Its menu reaches some classic of the European cuisine: Paella for two, Cioppino, Focaccias, Grigliata plates of grilled meat or fish large enough to share, prime cuts of steaks are between the favorites, next to an excellent selection of pastas and fresh salads. Locally grown ingredients are used extensively, as well as the freshest fish from Maui's ocean. Bistro Casanova is a favorite for Happy Hour relaxation, watered by specialty martinis and carafes of mojito and margaritas.Tapas (available after 4pm) can be a tasty complement to your drinks, an opening line for your dinner, or dinner itself.     It would be great if there were some outdoor dining as the noise level in the dining room is quite high. Given that you have the courtyard just there it would be a wonderful, quiet dining experience. Thanks.

    Hand made pasta, made fresh daily said the radio add 😂lol, you got me! Vegetarian with seafood eating friends, we enjoyed all the bread that was given with some delicious olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. One friend had the caprese salad, which was beautiful, other friend had the special of the day with the shrimp and scallop pasta (every bite finished). I had the mushroom pasta, which was absolutely phenomenal, but what stole the show was the margarita pizza, the crust that had the best buttery garlic flavor! To die for (chefs kiss)!

    Truly a unique, memorable, and delectable open air dining experience in Makawao. Gorgeous island setting with boutique and cafe, amazing selection of quality and healthy cuisine, and topped off by friendly service. A true island delight! Will eagerly return again in a heartbeat as this easily beats out places 5x the price.

    Fixed menu but all the options looked great! We ended up going with the Ribeye and Mahi. Both were absolutely incredible. The space is beautiful. Great service as well. Would def go back
