Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

When asked to define of The Crossing, Owner/Executive Chef Jim Fiala often says that he is a chef that buys locally whenever possible and cooks as any French and/or Italian chef would given the ingredients sourced. Joining Jim is Chef Thu Rein Oo who brings passion and years of experience to the kitchen. Our food is fresh, organic (whenever possible), seasonal and by design very simple.     Wow, I wish I could give this place 10 stars. My boyfriend and I were visiting St. Louis for the weekend and we were recommended to come here. To say we loved it feels like an understatement. I had asked to be seated in a quieter section and they happily accommodated. The ambience was perfection: jazz and dim lighting…music wasn’t too loud. Our server Zach, gave us great menu recommendations. We ordered the French onion soup to share as our appetizer and it was incredible. We got the chicken dish and braised beef…absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, we had a hard time deciding between the chocolate mousse and the cream puffs. The kitchen gifted us the cream puffs (absolute angels). Also, the espresso martini was the best I’ve ever had. Overall, 11/10 experience. I’ll be dreaming of the desert for a while. Thank you to the kind hostess and server and staff who all made us feel so special and taken care of!

    Always perfection. We take our well-mannered five year old and they are so welcoming and kind to kids. The best mix of everything you want: fantastic food and drinks, gorgeous setting, warm and sophisticated but chill vibe.

    Lunch was amazing! Excellent service and amazing food. We started with a glass of Prosecco while sampling the amazing focaccia! Best ever! Next the mushroom and black truffle soup followed by the fish sandwich of the day.

    Dinner was on a Monday night so restaurant was not super busy. We had window view table which was nice for business dialogue. Gustavo our sister was attentive but not overbearing. Steaks were cooked to perfection and as ordered.
