Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dining experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak (with our secret sauce); and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. Welcome to Tempura Matsui –A Michelin One Star–Tempura Matsui invites you to experience the fine art of cooking tempura. Within a serene setting, guests have a seat at our counter or tables and can view the delicate preparation of lightly frying fresh fish and vegetables. We only serve Omakase Dinner Course for $280 per person at 2 specific times Tuesdays through Saturdays between 5:30PM and 8PM. Also, we serve a Lunch Course for $160 per person at 12 noon only on Fridays and Saturdays. Open irregularly on Sundays. Tempura Matsui is designed to emulate a Japanese cottage with warm woods, slate floors. A five-seat bar allows guests to wait for their seats while enjoying a glass of wine, sake, cocktail, or beer. You may make a reservation one month ahead and any cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the reservation to avoid a $100 charge per person.

    Great experience once again. Was seated right away though my guest was 5 min late. Thanks...it's important to me not to have to wait in the corridor for a "full party." Had the steak frites lunch which was excellent. We shared the lobster mac and cheese...delicious...cocktails were amazing as usual. Service was A+ Love that room! I will be back. I had a great time with my date. Thank you!!!!!

    Came for a birthday dinner and had a great time. The dessert wasn’t complimentary like most places offer for a birthday but other then that it’s definitely a place I will be coming back to. Highly suggest checking it out.

    There were 10 of us & we had made reservations at 5 pm as we had 7 pm theater tickets. Our table was ready for us upon arrival & our waiter was friendly & on point from start to finish. Service was great without feeling rushed & his wine suggestion was perfect. The portions are huge so we started with the calamari & Caesar salad which was plenty for all of us & both very good. We chose 4 dishes, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Scaloppine, Rigatoni & Broccoli, & Penne alla Vodka & all were delicious. We all commnted that the Penne was the best we’d had as the sauce was not too heavy & perfectly spiced. Although we could have only ordered 3 dishes, we all enjoyed the variety of the 4 choices. We finished off with cappuccinos for the table & made it to the theater with 15 minutes to spare. We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant & the bonus was it was very reasonable. Great job Carmine’s!!
