Dinner at Black Cat Farmstead is a unique dining experience. Enjoy private garden cabanas with wood stoves, gorgeous views and a 4-Course chef tasting menu (dietary restrictions accommodated) created by James Beard nominated chef Eric Skokan at our historic farmstead. Our 500-acre full-scale diversified organic farm supplies the majority of ingredients for your meal; from vegetables & herbs to the pork & lamb to the grains. We offer 7 intimate private tables per evening. Reservations are required & limited. $145/per person++Reservations are released weekly on Mondays for the following 3 weeks. We are generally open Wednesdays - Sundays. We do allow pre-booking for parties of 6+. Email us at farmdinners@blackcatboulder.com for booking private events, pre-booking, & general assistance. We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

    In celebration of our wedding anniversary, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Greenbriar last evening. We were seated in the bar area (our choice) and our bartender and server, Matt, was very attentive with our cocktails as well as our dinners. We ordered the soup of the day which was very tasty and the Arugula and Apple Salad (blue cheese on the side). The salad was absolutely incredible! For our main entrees, we ordered the Grilled Colorado Filet of Beef and the Beef Wellington. Both dishes were fantastic! Dessert was the Lemon Blueberry Tart which was divine! The Greenbriar is always our go-to for any special occasion. The service and food quality are excellent and the ambiance cannot be beat. Thank you, Greenbriar, for another fantastic anniversary dinner!

    From the vintage china and silver, the old wood stoves and the comfortable funky cabanas Black Cat must be experienced. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Each course outdid the last. The food is creative and flavorful, the sourdough bread outstanding. A true farm to table experience. Boulder and Longmont are full of good restaurants, but Black Cat is something special.
