We booked AZAR blind, didn’t read too much on it and just saw it was close and had availability. WOW, to say we scored in an understatement…we were blown away. Starting with the Smoked Rum Old Fashioned…brought to the table under a dome filled with fragrant woodsmoke, this was a crafted cocktail that impressed across all the senses. We had 6 of the 11 apptz offered…all fabulous (but I am still thinking on how tender their octopus was). The mains were very generously sized and each had a custom tweak that made them unique to AZAR; fire grill pichana, branzino, the shrimp salad and an over-the-top cowboy cut steak that even our 19 yr old carnivore had to rally to finish. Desserts..the Black Forest Brownie and the Churros were killer. Our server, Maria, was a pro throughout..including with the wine pairing, she was great. Mgmt stopped by and checked in, always a nice touch and confirmed that AZAR is a top dining choice in Aruba

Servicio muy bueno atentos al necesitar alguna bebida al igual el lugar muy bonito y muy bien ubicado lo único es el ruido la gente no habla si no que grita por lo demás muy bueno la comida exquisita gracias.

From the moment you walk into Madame Janette, you are transported into a garden oasis where the scents of spices and flowers fill your senses and prepare you for an experience you will remember forever. The quality of service and food is top caliber and Michelin level. The staff is attentive and super courteous. As I looked around, I noticed the staff greeting returning customers and greeting them with hugs and kisses. You didn’t see any less warmth for new customers. Which is such a nice experience because no one wants to feel left out.

Everything was great until we were charged $9 for water and $25 for sharing an entree, even though our tab was already well over $100. It’s probably the coolest restaurant we’ve ever been to but the excess charges on the bill had us leave on a bad note.

Our waiters Michael and Mingha( intern) were very pleasant and attentive , food recommendation ( Lamb chops were excellent my wife had the catch of the day ( red snapper ) which was also excellent! We had a bit of a mishap by the table side cocktail maker with a near miss of a full tumbler of whiskey smashing on the floor by my feet ( scary) but was handled the right way. Highly recommend 😊
