Monte's Trattoria is an Italian Restaurant located in the heart of Greenwich Village on MacDougal Street between West 3rd and Bleecker. This vintage Italian restaurant has existed since 1918 and the Mosconi family has continued its rich tradition. Chef Pietro Mosconi delivers authentic Northern Italian dishes from his region of Emilia-Romagna and is often seen in the dining room conversing with patrons. You'll find a friendly cozy atmosphere. The waiters and bartenders, whom you'll know by name, are always affable and ready to please. A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty!
