James Beard Award-winning Chef Andrew Black makes his way back to Skirvin Hotel to open his newest restaurant concept, Perle Mesta. The restaurant will be his first concept to open since winning a James Beard award as 2023’s Best Chef Southwest and will be located on the first floor of the historic Skirvin Hotel (One Park Avenue, Oklahoma City).     We had a wonderful dinner out at Tellers last night for my wife’s birthday. It was decorated for the holidays & was very impressive. Our server was very sweet and very attentive. She offered great suggestions as well as told us the history of the building. We had the bread, the fried artichoke appetizer, the short rib rigatoni, and the lobster ravioli. All were flavorful and delicious. We also enjoyed the Brandy Alexander and the the Voodoo Ranger Juice Force IPA. We stayed at the upstairs hotel which was equally nice. Highly recommend!

    We did the chefs tasting w/wine pairing and the whole experience was outstanding. Our waiter did an excellent job. He explained everything in detail, was on top of everything. Honestly his service level was what made the night memorable.

    As always wait staff was excellent! Never waited on a refill. Always removed the empty plate or glass on the table within minutes of you finishing. Lobster Cargot and the Shrimp Cocktail are awesome. I have never tasted Shrimp cocktail this good anywhere. The Shrimp are big, cold, and dry. Don't get any better than this. The Au Gratin Potatoes are the best I have ever tasted anywhere. Then the Prime Cowboy Ribeye Steak with Pittsburg style, it don't get any better. My wife and I enjoy eating here. I will we back next month. Just keep doing what you are doing, don't change a thing! I had planned on taking pictures of the food, but again I forgot. everything went out the window when all the great food showed up.
