Honoring Chef Miki Izumisawa, the female, award-winning sushi artist, originally trained by the one and only Nobu Matsuhisa. Miki was inspired by nature to create unique nigiri, cut rolls and hand rolls that blur the line between art and fusion sushi. Miki's recipes transform elements of the natural world with names such as Lava Flow, Moon and Sun, Feather in the Sky, and Prairie. The view is amazing and so is the staff. They even made sure we were warm as we were sitting outside near the ocean. Food was good. We had Ribeye steak which was tasty and ordered sides of brussel sprouts and potatoes au gratin. large order for sides enough for two or more people. Drinks were good but on the pricey side. Expected as this is the beach and hotel is going through a reno. Beautiful spot! The people that work here are great and music was perfect! Definitely a place we will be visiting again and again.
