In 1992, thrown together on Cape Cod by political circumstances none of them could have predicted, four young Yugoslavs founded Pain D'Avignon.Their goal was to recreate the Old World Traditions using baking techniques and recipes barely changed in centuries. Albertos is one of our favorite places on the Cape to bring family. It's not your standard Northern or Southern Italian restaurant. Great menu, great food, great service, and a nice warm seat by the fireplace.

Perfect spot for Thanksgiving dinner. The food and service was excellent. One of the nicest things was that they did not rush us through this meal. We had four courses over 3 1/2 hours and nobody ever hurried us. The noise level here has improved since the last time I was here — thanks to some noise absorbing tiles on the ceiling.

This was our first time to Embargo, we went there because of the positive reviews. My wife and I each had a martini and we shared four tapas, and then shared a “creamy espresso martini” for dessert. The food was fantastic and our server Michelle was great. She didn’t rush us but always seemed to appear at just the right time. This restaurant is highly recommended..
