AMA Bar & Grill will undergo an enhancement project October 14 - November 22, 2024 which will result in the temporary closure of the restaurant, swim-up bar, and adjacent restrooms. Intermittent noise disturbances are anticipated but all pools, cabanas, and services will remain open. The Kea Lani Restaurant in Wailea is an open-air dining area offering a daily bountiful breakfast buffet. The buffet contains seasonal fresh fruit, as well as pastries and breads such as mango and banana bread that are freshly baked in the resort's pastry shop. The Maui breakfast buffet also features rotating choices of hot and cold items including pancakes, waffles, link sausage, and smoked bacon as well as authentic Asian style breakfast foods including miso soup. Aloha, we are open daily from 11:00am to 10:00pm, with our last seating available at 9:45pm. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays). Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine.     I brought my granddaughter there for her birthday! She picked it! She absolutely loved it and the food! She said Grammy it’s so beautiful here, I want to get married here! She is a local girl here and this could be the place! Her dad’s Grandparents used to own the whole Makena strip at one time way back in the day. So this would be pretty special! Mind you she is turning 7 years old. She loved Shannon, and she was so happy Shannon brought her more cherries. She only likes the juice from them. Thank you for making this a memorable night! She went home and shared w her mom n Dad, she was so happy!!

    I really enjoyed this experience! Ko is one of my favorite restaurants and the food by the chefs at this event was all amazing!!! Every dish was delicious and so flavorful and I loved trying the different dishes. I hope they do it again soon! Mahalo!
