Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. We sat outside and there was nobody else outside. Great food, service was top notch, amazing view and a fantastic dirty martini. A new favorite for us. A nice quiet, romantic dinner before the fun craziness of Christmas. A must do.

Fabulous as usual! The service couldn’t be any better and the food was perfect. Everyone agreed that the french onion soup was the best anyone had ever had! Filets were delicious and cooked perfectly

Everything was great, everyone was great. Heidi made some recommendations and all were as she said. It was a nice last meal with friends on our last night in HHI for 2024 before going back home to NY.

Service was attentive, but then, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Linguini per hubby was excellent and my shrimp and grits were fine. A good choice if you are staying in the hotel.
