Tom Douglas’ serious pie, a pizzeria with a bread baker’s soul is located in downtown seattle, ballard, and totem lake. we’re here to serve up delicious salads, and our famous pizzas with blistered crusts, light textured but with just enough structure and bite. our attentiveness to each pizza in the 600-degree stone-encased apple wood-burning oven preserves the character of house-made charcuterie and artisan cheeses from around the world.

This bustling neighborhood restaurant specializes in oysters and other seafood dishes. Using nothing but the freshest ingredients, Chef Taylor Thomas creates seasonal food. The Walrus and the Carpenter also serves wine, smart cocktails, beer and cider. It makes an ideal after-hours hangout spot. Enjoy some fried oysters with a cold beer, surrounded by cozy rustic furnishings. If you prefer an alternative to seafood, look no further than the steak tartare, which comes with thinly sliced rye toast and egg yolk. We have 15 indoor tables, and 12 covered/heated patio tables. Online reservations can be made for parties up to 5 guests. Larger groups can be booked at 5pm on weeknights, please email the restaurant for reservations. Please understand when making your reservation that we cannot guarantee a specific table or area of the restaurant. We recommend 5pm reservations for parties with specific table requests, if you book later in the evening you may need to wait for your table preference.If you are having difficulty finding a reservation you are welcome to stop by for walk-in seating. Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles.
