VU Rooftop is a 13,000 square foot concept located 22 stories high next door to McCormick Place. Founded in 2014 in Chicago by cousins Jared Rouben (Brewmaster) and Jeremy Cohn (CEO), Moody Tongue is built on the philosophy of culinary brewing, appealing to those with a discerning palate or, as Rouben describes, a "moody tongue." Utilizing his extensive culinary background and brewing education, Rouben approaches brewing with a chef's mindset.     Finally I was managed to book a reservation after so many months and was not disappointed!! The place is so gorgeous and luxe, just takes your breath away. Very high quality everything: food,service,ambiance,just perfection! I cannot wait to go back, this will probably become one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago easy. I loved that the whole experience wasn’t rushed, the service was timely and very professional and I appreciate that they let you just enjoy the vibe and have a good time ,something that I loved about restaurants in Paris. It was a girl’s night out, we had a few drinks,an appetizer , two different pastas,tiramisu with tea for dessert. Hoping to be able to snag another reservation for my friends’ birthday soon ! Highly recommend if you want that sophisticated experience.

    This is a classic location in Downtown Chicago. The wonderful wood, and architecture made it seem so special. It is a very low noise, calm environment with consisten food quality and service.

    I had an absolute blast celebrating my 30th birthday! I highly recommend this spot it’s amazing. I can’t wait for summer to roll around so I can hit the rooftop and turn up some more!
