It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard. The krō bär is an eclectic bar with a speakeasy vibe and a passion for spirits and great food with a nod to another era. Tucked away on Main Street in Bothell, a walkable neighborhood teaming with local art, culture and food, the artfully handcrafted krō bär has been reclaimed from the bones of Bothell’s historic hardware store in the Mohn building. The 16-foot-high tin ceilings, a hanging catwalk and the original wood floors were uncovered and restored. Please note we are 21 and older only.Due to the size of our location, we are unable to seat parties of more than 4 guests.

    I had lunch with a friend on Saturday around 2 PM, which was a great time as the lunch rush had ended. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious—definitely comfort food at its best. My friend ordered the Reuben sandwich, and I went with the turkey grilled cheese. Both dishes were fantastic and made with high-quality ingredients. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this place.

    The cocktails here are incredible. I went for the first time last weekend with my husband and again yesterday with a girlfriend. One caveat is that menu is very limited. So go for the cocktails and light appetizers, but plan to have your meal elsewhere (or at home afterward).

    Our whole experience was so nice. Friendly professional staff. The food was delicious. All 5 in our party were pleased with the meal. The nausea level was low and it was easy to have conversations.
