Lorenzo’s features Northern Italian fare with a touch of contemporary flavor. Look to our menu for some of the classics as well as some modern Italian cuisine less prevalent on The Hill. Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. Dominic's has been honored by DIRONA, 2001 Restaurant Hall of Fame, 1999 International Award of Excellence, The Epicurean Award & was voted one of the two best Italian Restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.     We always love Brasserie but this was extra special. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and I dropped a note about that in the reservation request. Our server, Jessica, helped provide a great experience, We had a beautiful spot in the restaurant (flowers and sparkling wine awaiting), great found and drink, and another reminder of why this is one of our favorite spots. Add this place to our list!

    Fine dining at its best. Had the food that we were looking for, steak tar tar and shrimp cocktails. Steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. Thank you 801 Chop house for the twenty year Anniversary it was great.

    We’ve been here about 5 times. Drinks and service has always been excellent. But the food has been very average. They did a menu change since the last time we went, and everything we got was amazing! The food is now back on par with their service and drinks. Excited to go back again!

    Hands down, Ramsey’s kitchen has been the best Saint Louis restaurant experience I have had thus far. From the food, to the ambience and passionate staff, this place is a cut above. Given I went on a Monday night for my birthday, the place was quiet, tranquil even- with breathtaking views of the Saint Louis arch and Mississippi River just outside. Yes it is expensive but you can tell care has been taken. Lastly, I’d say this is a great place for EVERYONE to at least try once.
