After a two-year closure, Original Joe's, San Francisco’s quintessential Italian-American dining destination, revitalized iconic Daly City institution Joe’s of Westlake, and reintroduced it into the community as Original Joe’s Westlake. An anchor of Daly City from 1956 to 2014, Original Joe’s Westlake underwent an extensive two-year renovation, complete with a front-to-back interior remodel, including the kitchen and all dining spaces, and an exterior and landscaping overhaul. Following the Original Joe’s tradition, Westlake continues to prepare unpretentious, old-school Italian-American fare in an open kitchen for all to see. The menu is carefully crafted to reflect a past-meets-present hybrid of what Joe’s of Westlake used to be and what Original Joe’s Westlake is today.

Situated inside the Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, Moonraker serves lunch, dinner and happy hour!A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, Chef's selection of oysters and ahi poke. Other options from "the land" include pot roast, steak, chicken parmesan and a vegetarian tagine. The chef makes a lot of the offerings gluten free, like crispy calamari and coconut prawns. Located next to the Pacifica Beach Hotel, this restaurant serves thoughtfully prepared dishes in a vibrant setting.     Had the $168 omakase option for my friend's birthday dinner and they were so nice and accommodating!! She absolutely loved it! Ambiance: The restaurant itself is such a cute little space! We sat at the bar for the omakase, which I highly recommend you do. Service: Excellent! Our plates were always cleared so quickly and my water was refilled constantly. Food: Super fresh and yummy! They have kizami wasabi, which I love, and the uni was my fave. My friend doesn't eat meat (she's a pescatarian) and they were able to accommodate for her, which I really appreciated. They even put a candle in her dessert! Overall, you should check this place out if you're in the area! I'll definitely be back!

    As always, the location had plenty of parking and wasn't too crowded. We made Priority reservations, in advance, through OpenTable. We were seated within 2-3 minutes upon arrival for dinner. Our meal consisted of the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, 1lb snow crab, salmon dinner, and I had the Lobster Punch for my cocktail. Everything came out hot and appealing to eat. Our server was a little more attentive with others than to my Mother and I, but other staff stepped in when necessary.
