Owing to the success of the Cornstore Wine Bar & Restaurant Cork, a sister restaurant was opened in Limerick in November 2008, situated on the newly refurbished and pedestrianised street, Thomas Street.The concepts boasts 3 floors offering a lively, buzzy, Manhattan style surrounding, including private dining and contemporary heated smoking area. The interior is mirrored to match the stylish elegance of its sister restaurant in Cork with intricate floor tiling, pewter style bar, cosy booths and intimate lighting.Like Cork, the menu consists of premium steaks and quality seafood, an extensive drinks list with cocktails, new world beers and a vast wine list. House is a great choice for a meal out with friends. The atmosphere is great there and there is a lovely buzz. You are see to your table on arrival, we had a short wait as our table wasn’t fully ready but they was v short. House is big but the lay out of it is great because u are not looking at every table. We had lovely round table at back, perfect for a group of 6. The music went up a level when we were there and was probably a tiny bit too loud for 6.30pm. The food was really good in general. One of our party had a vegan salad for mains which was lacking volume and variety. Beautiful wine and lovely waitress who took care of our table. Overall definitely worth a visit. Will go there again.
