The Hillside is a charming, rustic pub situated in the historic Georgian village of Hillsborough, County Down, only 15 minutes drive from Belfast city centre. The Hillside first opened its doors to patrons in 1752 and has been enjoying a busy trade ever since thanks to our excellent food and drinks selection and our friendly, welcoming service.     Our time and table had been mixed up but it was sorted out for us once we insisted There was some confusion about a cake we ordered from them but again it eventually got sorted out Food was excellent and the place is beautiful And we had a nice pleasant afternoon Wedding party of 8

    We had such a fantastic meal at Maisie's. The food was great. The staff were very attentive and knew the details of the menu and the produce. We had our little girl with us and they were brilliant with her. The duck starter was delicious as was the seabass. We have been looking for good restaurants and cannot recommend this place enough.

    My husband and I were again not disappointed. The food combinations were delicious … Covid actions that we have never had previously. The fish was cooked beautifully and the food was very well presented on the plate. The staff were very attentive to us throughout. A great evening and we will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening!

    Great evening spent with friends. Food was delicious and staff were amazing. Suite we stayed in was perfect. Great value for money. All four agreed best hotel we’ve stayed In whilst in Belfast. Will definitely be back
