The Krebs is an historic restaurant founded in 1899 by Fred and Cora Krebs. The restaurant has been a popular landmark in Skaneateles for over a century, serving presidents, dignitaries and celebrities. The Krebs was re-opened after undergoing a complete renovation while carefully preserving the history and ambiance that visitors have grown accustomed to. I was hearing a lot of good things about this restaurant but I’m very picky when it comes to my favorites. This blew my ratings out of the water. The candied carrots with the whipped feta is probably the best dish I’ve ever eaten. We all planned on sharing our meals but became too involved with our food before we even had a chance to share with one another ! Along with a great meal, our server was absolutely incredible. He was so attentive and was such a great help when it came to deciding what foods to get ! We can’t wait to get back here
