After years of working together on various successful restaurant concepts, they wanted to bring together the very best aspects of fine dining and casual hospitality in a beautiful and comfortable setting. Tavern & Table is more than a restaurant, it was created to be a gathering place where people sit in comfort and share small plates for the table or enjoy a hearty meal. Located on Charleston's historic Broad Street, Oak Steakhouse is a classic American steakhouse. A classic array of both wet and dry aged Certified Angus® Beef are featured on the menu.     We absolutely love dinning at the Oak Steakhouse! The staff are very friendly and attentive from setting us at a fabulous table for our date night. Drinks came quickly and they make a perfect French Martini! The oysters were great. We also ordered yummy cornbread with a taste of jalapeño. I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon with whipped potatoes and both were outstanding. We definitely will dine again! Thank-you!

    Great dining experience in a very elegant setting, without feeling stuffy. Peerless service. The grouper (on a bed of succotash) was a touch dry, but the overall dish was creative and tasty. The she crab soup was superb. We will return.

    We had a wonderful brunch experience today. I am truly pleased that the staff was so pleasant and were able to accommodate our party of 10! I had the breakfast fried rice, which came highly recommended by our wonderful waitress and it was phenomenal. The abundance of flavors in that dish definitely secured a visit from me in the future. The Cape Horn was the perfect brunch cocktail. Not only aesthetically pleasing but refreshingly delicious! Highly recommending a visit to The Longboard if you’re seeking a cozy, family friendly environment that excels in providing an elevated dining experience.

    Such a delightful dining experience in every way! A sunset view of Shem Creek, an unhurried and relaxed dining experience thanks to our waitstaff, perfectly concocted cocktails and yes, the food!!! It was perfect- thank you to everyone at Tavern and Table!
