José Crested Butte is a modern Mexican restaurant with a focus on Guadalajara and Oaxaca-inspired cuisine. Fabulous everything. Service was super attentive and excellent. Every item ordered was cooked to perfection. Sushi is outstanding. Steaks are done just right and full of flavor. Would visit here every time we are back in Aspen. This should be a go to whenever visiting Aspen.

Great atmosphere and service. Drinks are good too. But they discontinued my favorite menu item, their wonderful shrimp cocktail. The food we ordered arrived lukewarm, rather than hot. But the patio and location can’t be beat. We will go back.
