I booked The Butchershop as a treat for my partners Birthday and it did not disappoint whatsoever. The Decor and atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion and the wait staff really made it feel like it was fine dining. They also had a Birthday card waiting for our arrival on the table, really nice touch. The waitress was very informative about the meats available and even offered to show us the cuts! We went for the full 3 courses and Padron peppers with a bottle of red, the wine was so so good. I started with the philly cheese steak spring rolls and they were just amazing, i’ve never had a starter like it before which is always great to try something new. My partners started with the scallops and she said it was the best starter she’s ever had which really saying something! Also 5 scallops? Crazy, most places only give you like two or 3 so that was great! Onto mains we had a chateaubriand cooked medium, Mac and cheese and Chips, I went for peppercorn sauce and my partner had garlic butter with hers, Steak cooked to perfection. Chips were incredible, crispy soft and fluffy, best chips ever. Mac and cheese was great too. Pudding was a Bannoffee sundae. Two words - Oh Aye. Honestly can’t fault the pudding at all, if I could pick one food to be stuck with on a desert island it would be that. Dessert island. This couldn’t been more perfect to help make my partners Birthday that bit more special. We went to Elena’s with two Spaniards who like good food. They said the food was as good as their favourite restaurants in San Sebastián. Mussels were gorgeous as was the mor Coll o. Service was fab and price of food was great value for money. Definitely most authentic Spanish food in town.

Second time visiting Number 16 and it yet again did not disappoint. Such a relaxed atmosphere created for a place thats serving some of the most delicious food out there. Festive menu offered great variety for all. Cooked to perfection. Service was superb. All around great place for a special occasion. Will be back soon.

We arrived just after lunchtime , it wasn’t too busy for a Friday afternoon. We were seated quickly & in a window spot. Orders were placed & it wasn’t too long to wait before our pizza slices were on the table. Now the slices are huge as are the portion of fries. There were 3 of us & there were plenty left over. As a bonus we were offered some complimentary basil gnocci. These were absolutely delicious & would highly recommend ! Staff were attentive & engaging but not in a “in your face kinda way” just really nice. Will definitely be back.

Good place to enjoy a Korean barbecue. Loud music but friendly staff who were happy for us to move to a quieter table.
