Originally opened as Lyons English Grille in 1945, in 2014 the building was purchased from David Lyons and after a complete renovation we re-opened in 2015 as Mr. Lyons, a homage to Mr. David Lyons.Mr. Lyons features steakhouse classics with a modern edge. Be transported to a bygone era when jazz standards, martinis and steak ruled the day while enjoying modern luxury and innovation. "Your Pleasure is Our Pleasure!" Please join us at Bar Cecil for a delightful evening. We welcome parties of 5 or fewer guests (limited space for parties of 5). Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate larger parties.We book tables for 2 hours. Last dinner orders are taken at 9 pm and we close the bar at 10 pm. We've gone cashless and happily accept credit and debit cards.Due to our small size, tables with separate reservations can not be combined. Please reserve online; if OpenTable is not showing availability, we're fully booked or it is more than 14 days out. We accept reservations up to 30 days out. Our bar is always walk-in and we open at 5 pm (the bar list is usually full around 4:30 pm).We can't wait to have you as our guests! "Shall we?"

Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn.     We really enjoy Bar Cecil. Great atmosphere with beautiful bar and retro artwork. Good Old Fashioneds to start, anddelicious rolls Parker House style. I enjoyed a skirt steak- frittes, and the frittes were perfect. My wife ordered a pasta with too much pepper for her taste, and our server Eric had it remade with minimal pepper in a few minutes. We’ll be back every time we’re in town .

    Prix-fix lunch is almost always perfect, & we dine here for lunch at least once a week. Food is reliably fresh & tasty, & the $31 set price includes soup or salad, dessert, coffee/tea, & bread. Service always comes with a friendly smile & is professional especially Lilliam, Michelle, & Alex. Highly recommended. Sit outdoors in the tree room; it's smart to reserve for lunch.

    Tropicale is one of Palm Springs, California's most popular restaurants & rightly so. Dining there is like dining in the days of Sinatra & all the movie stars who once considered Palm Springs their playground. Be sure to ask for Richard to be your server.

    Excellent food, both in terms of quality and value. We ate on the patio so the noise level was fine but the service was a bit slow after our dinner was complete (we had to ask for someone to find a person to get our check) but definitely not to the point of really complaining. Definitely on our list of places to return to.

    Loved Mr.Lyons! Went for a birthday dinner and it hit all the aspects I was looking for. Excellent martini, crudo and bone marrow. The Wellington was perfect! My prime rib was a bit more well done than I would’ve preferred but still tasty nonetheless. Absolutely worth the trip!
