With Simon Rogan and his famous Lenclume restaurant we have some very high standards to maintain. Our food is fresh and sourced locally to ensure the freshest ingredients are on your plate at all times. Our menu changes often and is always being developed by our very talented Head Chef and his team. Along with a great food offering, we are challenging boundaries with our selection of 25 gins, 10 whiskeys and many more superior sprits, we always try to have an alternative rather than using main stream brands behind the bar, ensuring our guests receive the best possible value for money we can provide whilst experiencing a better than expected product. We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. The open pass from the kitchen allows guests to see our kitchen in operation and all this leads to creating a lively buzz and great atmosphere.

Lovely evening ,excellent table service. Disappointed no appropriate sauces for the meals and would have been better to have the curry served with poppadoms/naan bread. All food was tasty and gd portions.

A lovely evening of food and drink at the Cavendish Arms. The food is always good, when I’m not driving the cocktails are well worth it Service is excellent, friendly and welcoming. Being relatively local and my kids having gone to school in Cartmel this is definitely our favourite place to eat and drink.

Relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. Decent menu to chose from and the service was spot on. Will certainly be visiting again. One of of our guests complemented the staff on the way they greeted everyone with a smile.
