Reservations only guaranteed for indoor dining. Outdoor dining will be open weather/temperature depending. Taverns were a center of daily life in colonial times. They were the local, social and political hubs that spawned the thinking that led to the American Revolution. Tavern at the Sun Inn continues in this tradition offering a Colonial-inspired Seasonal food and beverage menu in a truly unique gathering spot.Tavern’s culinary team is led by Billy Gruenewald. He offers a casual tavern-style menu that changes to match what is seasonally available and features some ingredients that would have been available to Bethlehem’s founders.     Overall fabulous!! Beautifully restored 1800's architecture, delicious food and drinks and an attentive staff provided outstanding service. Pricing is reasonable for the quality, quantity and presentation. I highly recommend the drunken mussels appetizer, sea bass, pork chop and the mini chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything was amazing!

    The food and service were excellent and we were thrilled to learn our server Kali is also the pastry chef! We had the best crème brûlée we have ever eaten, along with an amazing espresso chocolate cake. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

    We ate here Christmas Eve, second year in a row. Everything was very nice. Our server was outstanding and our cocktails, appetizers, entrees were all delicious. Service was attentive without hovering. We had prok belly, oysters, filet mignon, strip steak, baked potato, martinis and red wine...all wonderful.

    Had a wonderful time with my daughter and granddaughters celebrating our annual Christmas dinner. Would definitely go there again for any special occasion. Our server, Emily, was pleasant and with a great sense of humor. That's important to us as we like to have fun. The dessert was excellent.
