Psaraki, meaning “little fish” in Greek, is the creation of longtime hospitality veteran James Paloumbis. The restaurant evokes the charm of seaside tavernas found along the shores of Greece.     The River Cafe is probably the most beautiful and maybe the best restaurant in NYC. The views are stunning and the service without comparison. We had the vegetarian menu which was varied and delicious . There were a number complimentary “ gifts” from the chef in addition to the amuse bouche . The bread was excellent, beet salad was prepared table side , I had the truffle risotto and my companion the simple pasta dish which was also delicious . We both had the signature dessert - the Brooklyn bridge . I can recommend this restaurant highly . It’s expensive but worth every cent.

    my second visit in 2 months. def my fave Greek spot in BK. they didn't disappoint, again. I am anxious to visit when warm as d spot is on d water front. no complaints

    We had a great experience at Beauty and Essex! We ordered 8 items for 5 people and had plenty of food. Highlights were apple and kale salad, tomato soup and grilled cheese dumplings, strip steak and mushroom ravioli. Service was fantastic and ambience was fabulous. Expensive but worth it!

    This is such a unique and wonderful NYC experience. The food was fabulous, and the space was gorgeous. Everyone was so nice and welcoming to us, and it's so fun to get to know an up-and-coming chef. I can't recommend it enough!
