The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. How fitting that in 2018, the restaurant's 75th anniversary year, the third generation of Wimmers, Amy Wimmer, takes the helm from her father Jeff and his wife Jane, bringing her own adventurous spirit to the Del-Bar, the same kind of spirit she so admired in her grandparents. We have been to the Del Bar before and we are always very pleased. The atmosphere and service are always top notch. We started with appetizers of shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms. I had the crab legs and my wife had the shrimp dejounge. We were both very happy with our food. We were having a seafood night, but we know from past experience that the steaks are also wonderful. We were too full for dessert, but our drinks were also very good. All in all a very pleasant night.

Came back for another anniversary and once again knocked out socks off. We requested Mike and he was once again exceptional. Service a 10, food a 10, the hole experience amazing. Mike thank you for making another anniversary that much better
