The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat. Both a pasta and wine bar, the Wardroom’s menu consists of authentic Italian pasta dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates customized for each guest, and seasonal salads and antipasto dishes. Our dinner experience was outstanding. The pork chops and steak were perfect! Our waitress was very good, as were the entire staff. This is our 3rd visit to The General Store which has quickly become our favorite restaurant. 👍

Exquisite food and very good service. The preparations, flavor profiles and quality of the ingredients are all very high caliber. Portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side thus my rating of only good for value. Perhaps increasing the number of amuse bouche would help to justify the high cost for a three course meal. This is a lovely restaurant that is doing many things well.
