Under the culinary direction of Chef Somoza, Flora’s menu captures the spirit of Mediterranean seaside towns from Saint Tropez to Capri to Marbella, spotlighting the bountiful seafood and vibrant produce that are hallmarks of coastal cuisine. With a passion for fresh ingredients rooted in his childhood in the Spanish countryside, picking wild blackberries and foraging mushrooms and wild asparagus, Chef Somoza is drawn to local, farm-to-table cooking.The Flora menu is made up of regional ingredients such as sweet corn, seasonal vegetables and fruits, local seafood and small farm sourced meats, and is anchored by a crudo bar and fish main courses including Dover Sole, Bank Scallops, pan seared halibut. A skilled pastry chef and boulanger, Somoza is also putting an emphasis on quality breads and an impressive offering of house-made pastries and ice cream, and the most delicious creme brulee.

A fresh take on American cuisine using the finest ingredients, served in a classy yet casual setting with a family-friendly atmosphere. We prepare delectable seafood, numerous gluten-free options, and natural meats raised without hormones or antibiotics wherever possible. All reservations will only be held for 15 minutes. Please call if a later arrival is needed and we will tell you our next available reservation.We are unable to honor more guests than made on the original reservation due to limited seating.     We had a lovely Christmas Eve lunch. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the ambience was on point. We enjoyed seeing the staff in the spirit despite working. They seemed to genuinely appreciate their team.

    Fantastic Christmas Eve lunch at The Mooring. Sat in the patio on the water's edge. Nice and warm with overhead heaters. Seafood Risotto - a special seasonal item - delish with lobster and shrimp. Pan fried sole with butter sauce very delicate and served with potatoes and some greens. Service perfect. Food exceptional. A great time by all. Definitely would recommend.

    Everything was spectacular, from the crab cakes to the center cut filet (I recommend the bourbon cream as the sauce). Service was great. We went two days before Christmas so it was not very crowded. Great place for a special occasion.

    Waitress was enthusiastic and attentive. Made excellent suggestions. Checked on us often without being intrusive. Food was delicious. We had the bistro salad with salmon and pub burger with caramelized onions.
