The typical Dutch cosiness means in countries around the Mediterranean 'together'. Taking time for each other around a table full of small dishes and enjoy a glass of wine. In 1987 La Brasa opened its doors on the lively Haarlemmerdijk in Amsterdam, located on walking distance from the Central Station, the famous Dam area and the Jordaan. Soon it became a very popular Argentine charcoal grill restaurant with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Specially because of the high quality meat they serve, imported from Argentina, is absolutely worth it to visit La Brasa. This place is Amsterdam at it’s best! Cozy tapas place lost on a quiet street in a bustling city. Warm welcome, amazing tasty and interesting Tapas. Wonderful dinner and experience. Thanks Open Table for having spots like this . I’ve come to trust Open Table to find good dining when traveling and was delighted to add to the list.

Definitely not what I was expecting after making my reservation. It’s a restaurant in a storefront on a side street in Amsterdam. Small business, but everything was great.
