Excellent food and atmosphere. I totally recommend and it's definitely in my top 5 resturant experiences.

We always try something different when we come in. I must say, I've never had meal here that I didn't enjoy or a server that wasn't on point. Everything is always delicious. Service from entering to exiting is always great. The pork belly katsu was something we tried that was new to the menu. The salmon skin with squid ink pasta was my overall favorite tonight. Honestly, you can order anything and it'll be awesome 👌

I’ve been wanting to try Gaslamp for so long, and my goodness did they blow us away. We had a great time celebrating our 3rd anniversary here. Clark and the rest of the staff were outstanding. Situated behind the pub, your password will get you into a quaint, cozy speakeasy. The drinks satiate the eyes as well as the palate, and are skillfully crafted within the view of the table. The Truffle Risotto was elegant and light. The Beef Wellington was cooked perfectly to medium rare, and went great with the mash potatoes, roasted vegetables and red wine demi glace. The Veal Chop Special with polenta, brussels sprouts, and bordelaise sauce was delicious as well. The timing of our courses was spot on such that we were able to enjoy a few cocktails in between our entreés. We were lucky to have also been treated to live music which came from the upper balcony. This is the perfect spot for a date night or a small gathering. The only thing I regret was not coming here sooner.

Another fabulous dinner at Kalapawai Cafe in Kailua. Last night was a birthday celebration and we ordered more than we normally do. We started with the fig and the crab artichoke appetizer. Both selections were ridiculously delish. From the dinner selections, we all ordered the fresh ahi layered on top of Bok choy and creamy, perfectly cooked, lemongrass risotto. Amazing! For dessert, an order of fruit crisp and lilikoi cheesecake. Heaven! Kudos to the Chef and staff!

The service was very good and they had a unique but short menu. The setting is a kind of funky Kailua.
