Awesome experience this evening. Our waitress Jess and her assistant Bri were unbelievably professional and accommodating! Thank you!!

My date was on a flight back from Paris and sat next to a lovely couple from Buffalo who suggested Giancarlo’s. And boy were they spot on!!! First of all, our waitress, Olivia, was delightful and very knowledgeable with the menu. She and the other staff were on top of all our needs. There were so many choices I can’t wait to go back and try more. The filet mignon was the best I have ever had!! My date had the oysters and was very impressed! Our cocktails were delicious as well!! We don’t know the name of that couple on the plane, but thank you for steering us towards Giancarlo’s! It was well worth it!!

Our food was outstanding! We had the filet mignon with Yukon gold mash. It was cooked perfectly. The waitstaff did a wonderful job to make our 25th wedding anniversary perfect!!

Next Door is amazing in every way, the new renovation and menu are absolutely stunning! The new highlights of this visit were the sweet shrimp sashimi and the Koji marinated chicken. The shrimp were sweet and delicate with a lovely ocean flavor! Superb flavor, tender white and dark meat and crispy skin are what make the grilled chicken truly delicious and wonderful to eat! The crisp baby gem lettuce, shaved radish, grilled citrus and green sauce that accompany the bird make it even better! The roasted cauliflower and and Japanese sweet potato were great with the chicken, as well. The hamachi sashimi appetizer and miso soup were, as always a great start to the meal. The staff are so wonderful at Next Door are always a delight to see and talk to, thank you for being so wonderful Next Door!

If you are looking for a high end dining experience, here is a great choice. A one hour drive from Rochester, Medina itself was had a classic, beautiful vintage Christmas feel as night fell. Our server, Steve, made the evening even more special. He was very personable, as well as a top notch waiter, maintaining the fine balance of waiting on us quickly, without appearing to hover. The pairing was superb. Wines and courses were matched in ways that made each that much more elevated. An additional extra, making the evening even more special, was lovely live music on a harp. Pricey, but an experience you don't often get in our area.
