Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined feel. “There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there. It’s a sensational value considering all of the amazing food!! You must try the churrasco experience as that’s the entire point of going so you can have all of those savory meats!! The service was top notch. It was super busy but considering that this is the holiday season it is to be expected. I look forward to going back soon!!

We’re locals who have been looking forward to experiencing Jolie based on recommendations from longtime local friends. We were expecting near perfection based on what we’ve been told, and that is what we got- PERFECTION. Food selection and preparation was stellar. As was the service. Our server was Alex. Ask for him. He knows the menu and will make recommendations. Manager Amber was attentive and professional.
