Join us in the dining room for a French inspired three course tasting menu experience for a base price of $71. Reservations required and as we are a very small restaurant we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy.The owner of Près Des Prés, Andrew Pearson, dreamed of opening a restaurant in Gordonsville because of his love for the town and its people. This is a family operated establishment so you will find Andrew’s wife Lauren and daughters serving guests some evenings. Our restaurant filled a hole in the town for a more high end and French dining experience. Chef Abigail Duck runs our one (wo)man kitchen. She aims our menu to feature seasonal, interesting, French inspired dishes. Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995.     We showed up (very) early for our reservation and they accommodated us. Their raw oysters were ice cold, briny, fresh, clean and already loosened from their shells…just the way they should be. Perfection.

    Lunch is always an excellent experience, great choices and a quiet atmosphere. Service is always very good. And a plus at lunch is that parking is available. Highly recommended Forked on Main.

    We had the pleasure of enjoying an afternoon at Barboursville Vineyard's tasting room followed by an amazing dinner at Palladio. Everything was absolutely perfect . Our dinners were perfect, the suggested wine pairings were spot on, and the service couldn't have been better. If you're in the area you should absolutely put Palladio on your shortlist and if you're further away like we are it's worth the trip. Love this place!

    The food was absolutely outstanding. With a few glasses of wine the meal became very expensive, but the food was definitely worth it, a true experience.
