Located in the Heart of Sonoma Valley, Loxton Cellars is a working winery surrounded by 5 acres of estate vineyard. It is the intent of owner/winemaker, Chris Loxton, to produce handcrafted wines, made without compromise, that show balance and a sense of place. Wine tastings (no food) are currently offered by reservation and take place outdoors allowing guests to enjoy a lineup of handcrafted wines while taking in breathtaking views of the Mayacamas mountain range. Tastings are $20/person, include a flight of 5 wines and offer a casual and educational experience. In the event of rain we do have you covered, but it can be a bit chilly this time of year so we suggest bringing layers. Great ambiance, attentive staff with great senses of humor, impeccable service, and an extensive menu and wine list! Outdoor patio is incredible, although we chose to eat inside due to the weather! This is my go to place for providing a special experience for family and friends!

John and team continue to do an outstanding job pairing wines with delicious food selections. The pairings often are novel and a nice way to introduce pairings one might not typically consider. We’ll definitely be back.

For a Thanksgiving diner, this was quite inexpensive, the table was ready for us when we got there, the service was quick and very friendly, and the food was very good. On normal nights, their food is excellent, the ambiance is just fine, and the value is superb. An excellent choice of place.
