The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tower Bar Restaurant has split views of the city from either side of the lobby. It offers a swank lounge, bar and an al fresco dining experience. Custom made banquettes line the windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme. The delectable menu features California Bistro with Italian fare. A dress code is enforced, please call for information.We are now open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is offered six nights a week, Monday-Saturday. We are unable to guarantee a seating preference of indoors or outdoors.     Our reservation was for 2:30 last call for the kitchen was at 3pm. I was not aware that the kitchen was closing so early. The waitress was very nice but to get our stuff out was very slow and our food was cold. Not sure if it was because the time we got there or not. Over all the place was cute and the drinks were festive.

    We had a wonderful dinner. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, it feels like you are dining in someone's home, with all the little nooks and romantic lighting. We were seated in the back room which was perfect as we had asked for a quiet table and we could talk. My friend had the special which was a 12 ounce pork chop which he said was amazing. I had the chicken artichoke fusilli - a bit heavy on the garlic, but otherwise delicious. My friend and I hadn't seen each other in years so we had lots to catch up on and the servers were patient & never intrusive. We never felt rushed. After we left they even called me as we had forgotten our credit card. Thank you! I will definitely be dining here again.
