Margaux is a modern European restaurant/wine bar. The French/Italian inspired menu includes seared foie gras, house made pork terrine, porcini risotto for appetisers and seared scallops, grilled veal rib and Barolo braised beef as some of the main courses. 100 bin wine list covers a broad range of producers and grapes, with an emphasis on old world wines. If you don"t want to stretch to a bottle there are over 25 wines by the glass and carafe. We have been coming here for a long time yet it always feels like a treat. Came with friends for a pre holiday meal together . Festive and friendly atmosphere . Super full night yet the food still came quickly, was top quality & delicious as previous times. Staff super welcoming, warm & friendly - all the while working very hard and non stop to run this gem so smoothly .

Small group meeting pre Albert Hall event , people arriving at various times requiring a drink and nibbles . This venue worked perfectly . Our waiter couldn’t have been more efficient , attentive and pleasant . Great venue all round
